BIBLE STUDIES

Bible Studies are home groups that meet together to read the Bible, talk to God in prayer and share life together. Through these groups, we get to know Jesus more, as well as building our relationships with one another. Currently we have two Bible Studies, one meeting in Forrestfield and the other in Carmel and are looking to start more. If you’re wondering how you can get more connected at HWC, then joining a Bible study is the perfect opportunity to do just that.

KIDS CHURCH

During our Sunday services we have a Kids programme, where the children are taught from the Bible about God and His love for us in Jesus. Jesus loves the little ones and welcomes them in and so we love having the little ones in for the service, where we sing, pray and read the Bible. Just before the sermon the Kids head out to Kids Church and just like in the service, we read the Bible and pray and hear more about God’s love and kindness to us in Jesus.

We have a weekly sports ministry (WPCMV and HWC combined) at Scott Reserve, High Wycombe on Mondays from 5pm-7pm. We'll be having a short gospel devotion and prayer from one of our leaders at 6pm and there'll be time to kick the footy round, throw a frisbee, chat, eat and fellowship together. Feel free to bring food, family, friends and any sports gear you'd like to play with. Everyone's welcome!

BOYS, BREKKIE AND BASKETBALL (BBB)

If you’re a guy, then we want you at BBB. This is an opportunity to hear God’s Word, talk to other guys, share a meal and shoot some hoops. Simple, but refined. Kind of like bacon…

YOUNG ADULTS

Sunday Lunches

We at HWC young adults love hanging out together and one of the ways we do that is by sharing lunch at the Evans’s place in Bickley from time to time. Come along for amazing food, great company and lots of opportunities for good chats and laughs.

Thursday Nights

Since HWC is the daughter Church of WPCMV (insert hyperlink to Looking Back and Looking Forwards), we join together with WPCMV for their young adults’ ministry. Thursday night Bible studies, run by Martin Ricquebourg (one of the pastors at WPCMV) is a fantastic opportunity to get into the Word and make great friendships with others at a similar stage of life. Bring your Bible, questions and prayer requests for a wonderful evening together.
